On April first 2017, Big Roddy’s Rippin’ Rib Shack finally opened its’ doors to the public. It was the proudest moment imaginable for the two friends that had started this rib-tastic journey so long ago. Three years later in February, 2020 Big Roddy’s #2 opened its doors at 86 McLachlan St, Fortitude Valley.
NOTHING, that you eat in Big Roddy’s has ever been frozen. We don’t even have a freezer and we never will. None of our ribs, none of our burger ingredients, none of our sauces, none of our nothing is ever defrosted and then cooked or reheated at Big Roddy’s. We strongly believe food tastes better when it remains natural and is cooked fresh, not that “frozen and then defrosted fresh”.
